Creative Director / Moravian College Magazine

As Creative Director of Moravian College Magazine, I executed a complete redesign of the magazine with the summer 2016 issue, including contributing new recurring editorial elements. The redesign revitalized an outdated publication and delivered a fresh, lively, engaging magazine that has garnered wide praise from its readers.

Moravian College Magazine is a 48- to 64-page magazine published three times a year. A special 4th issue, a President’s Report, was produced at the close of 2018. With each issue, Sandy collaborates with the editor on visual concepts for the cover and interior, identifies and commissions photographers and illustrators, edits/select photos, designs all layouts, reviews and revises layouts in collaboration with the editor and copy editor, and prepares and uploads final files to the printer’s website.
